We are located in the Copper River Valley of Alaska! 

We are Joshua & Jaime Hughes. We love our Mals!  Our desire is to breed quality dogs and produce quality puppies. Whether you are looking for a new pet or weight pull champion you have found the right kennel. We pride ourselves on the disposition of our puppies.  Each puppy is held and loved from the very minute it is born. The puppies are played with constantly by family members & friends. Puppies are always so much fun!

Malamutes are a dogs that love people.  Different than the "husky" the malamute will love you, and will make a great family pet, and a loving companion.  Be careful because the malamute love is very addicting.  Just 11 short years ago we got our first Mal Kyra, and now spend much of our lives devoted to the breed.

KingFisher's Mighty Koda
Koda has produced some of the most sought after Malamutes in the world.  His son Timber is just one example of the Giant lines that stand out so well.  He is one of the most amazing Giant Red Alaskan Malamutes alive today! She has a huge head and legs, she is exactly what Giant Red Alaskan Malamute is supposed to look like!  She has earned the "Breeders Choice" award! 
If I were keeping a pup out of this litter she would be it.  Her color is awesome and she has goggles with mask with great color.  She is the largest puppy in the litter right now, and is going to be a great adult!  I expect her to look a lot like her father Koda!  She is a sister to our Timber.
