KingFisher's Saphira
 is a rare Mahogany Red Malamute.

Her coat is one of the most rare, and when matched up with KingFisher's Mighty Koda she throws the nicest of Mahogany Red Giant Alaskan Malamutes available.  We expect to have another litter from her and Koda in the winter of 09.

Saphira is a Niece to our Giant Stud KingFisher's Midnight Charger.  Check out Chargers page to see another dog with similar bloodlines as Saphira.

Notice how her color has changed from being 6 months old to now 14 months old.

In my experience all Malamutes darken with age.  The light red was a puppy coat that got shed out in the fall, and now her Dark Mahogany Red is growing in.  Good thing to, we have been 30 - 50 below 0 off and on this last winter!
